It cleans everything from pet hair to small and large debris easily, and there's even a mop attachment to clean sticky messes, although we don't currently test it. Pros

  • Intelligent convenient design
  • Feature-rich setup
  • Smart AI-powered cameras
  • Mopping and cleaning with ease
  • Multi-floor mapping

Cons

  • Some obstacle misidentification
  • Occassional mishaps with pushing obstacles about

The Roborock S6 MaxV has great performance on bare floors. This very well-built vacuum easily sucks up pet hair, large debris, and small debris from surfaces like hardwood or laminate. However, it struggles with picking up large debris like cereal when its dirt compartment is partially full. It does an excellent job of maneuvering itself and works with an app that allows you to set up virtual boundaries and 'no-go' zones. Unfortunately, like most robot models, it incurs high recurring costs and has quite a few parts that need regular maintenance.

While smart speaker integration needs a little work for more functionality, overall the Roborock S6 MaxV is great. As the first robot vacuum I've seen in action, it has certainly impressed.
