Due to how accessible the Logitech HD Webcam C310 is, it just may be the best webcam for Skype, perhaps even the best wireless webcam. And since it’s widely accepted across Mac, Windows, and ChromeOS, it could be the best webcam for Chromebook. More importantly, its omni-directional mics place it en route to be the best webcam for YouTube. Sale Logitech HD Webcam C310 Check Price Why We Like It – Logitech HD Webcam C310 Capping at 720p HD video calls, enhanced by Logitech’s Fluid Crystal technology, the Logitech HD Webcam C310 still offers sharp, clear imagery, and makes the most of its limitations. Pros Logitech’s “Fluid Crystal” technology 5MP optical sensor Omni-directional mics Cons Limited to 720p Lacks autofocus Type, Lens, Size & Weight The Logitech HD Webcam C310 opted for a plastic lens, which sadly reduces its durability and reduces quality by a small margin. However, its dimensions of 6 x 3 x 8.25 inches and weight of 9.6-oz does make it easier to handle, not like the tiny Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920. Resolution & Display Capturing video at 1080p would’ve been so much better, but 720p is still solid. At least RightLight 2 auto-light correction was included to enhance the noticeable reduction in resolution. Furthermore, the 5MP optical sensor pairs pretty well with Logitech webcam software for the purpose of enhancing. However, the Logitech HD Webcam C525 has 8MP to work with. Tripod & Image Stability When using the clip-on design, image stability can be okay if your space is stable. Without a stable surface, it tends to take a nosedive. You’re better off getting a tripod. Optical Zoom, Microphone, Audio & Storage The Logitech C310 HD Webcam can in fact zoom! You have near full control of the device, more so if you use Logitech webcam software. Its microphone is also surprisingly clear and free of static. As for storage, it has none. However, another Logitech webcam, the Logitech C270 Widescreen HD Webcam, has 200MB. Value Despite being 720p, the price given to the Logitech HD Webcam C310 is right on the money—not like the overpriced Logitech HD Webcam C525. It has the right amount of features and enhancements that its price is justified: good optical sensor, Logitech’s Fluid Crystal technology, and an extra mic. You’re getting a great deal here, for just $42. Logitech HD Webcam C310 Wrap Up Even limited to 720p, Logitech’s Fluid Crystal technology makes colors pop and smooths out video motion when in play. Its 5MP isn’t anything to sneeze at either when the urge to snap a photo arises. Most importantly, the omni-directional mics hardly pick up feedback or static. As far as deals are concerned, the Logitech HD Webcam C310 is one of the best. Reader Rating0 Votes0 9.2Expert RatingBottom Line
